How our guides are written

The guides, blog articles and pricing pages on houseclearance.co are written by the small named team introduced on our about us page - each with a specific area of the platform they work on day to day, from carrier vetting to customer operations to the pricing data itself. The byline on each article names the person who wrote it and links to their profile page.

At the moment, houseclearance.co does not have a separate, formal editorial review step beyond the author who writes the piece - there is no dedicated editorial board or fact-checking team distinct from that small team. Each author is expected to keep what they write consistent with what's actually published elsewhere on the site (current pricing, carrier licensing rules, how the platform actually works), but we want to be upfront that this is author-level accountability rather than an independent review stage. If and when we introduce a formal review step, we will update this page to describe it rather than imply one exists today.

Pricing accuracy

houseclearance.co is a marketplace that connects customers with independent, licensed waste carriers - it does not set a single fixed company-wide price. The indicative price ranges published on our prices page are drawn from the quotes carriers actually submit through the platform, and are maintained by the team member responsible for pricing and data, named on that person's author profile. Your actual price for a specific job is always set by the carrier who quotes on it, not by a figure on this website.

If you spot something on the site that looks wrong or out of date - in a guide, on a pricing page, or anywhere else - please let us know by emailing office@houseclearance.co or calling 020 3743 8654. Our general enquiry form on the contact page is not yet connected, so email or phone is currently the reliable way to reach us about a correction.
